I was sitting at a table with a group of friends recently, or. more sccurately, a group of friends and somebody I can't stand, but pretend I do so as to keep the peace. We were talking about movies, and I was talking about the film "Memento," when he suddenly he chimes in with, "I love that movie!"

And now I can't watch that film the same way anymore. When I watch it now, I'm looking out for the things that are wrong with it, because for him to like it, there must be some in there.

There are people I see here and on other boards that, when they say they like something, it makes me not want to buy it.
