Most of the time I'll be fine, then a wave of depression and/or anger will wash over me and I'll strat punching inanimate objects. I've also noticed it gets more unpredictable when I'm drunk.

Yes, but do you become sexist and racist? If so, you should run to the media and say your going to go to rehab.

Sounds like me.

Except for the drunk part.

alcohol is called a depressant for a reason. I only quit drinking because alcohol was a smoking trigger, but I became a lot less volatile emotionally and generally happier because I wasn't drinking anymore.

So Batman is bi-polar? Interesting, I always wondered what was the matter with him.

Well, I consider myself a Christian, so yes.

Can't you pray to Jesus to calm you down? Read the bible?

I don't actually own a Bible, and I think God has more respect for people who hepl themselves then those who go running to him every five minutes.

"What part of "Free Will" are you people still not getting?"

I would think that a firm belief in God would be of value for emotional disturbances, if nothing else. Free Will has to do with making choices, not feeling awful all the time.

Nope, completely sober and ready to kill some alien scum on Resistance. But I also can't get some silly cooze outta my head and it's making me maudaline. And the Hatebreed isn't helping any.

If all that doesn't spell Bi-Polar, I don't know what does. :surrend:

Have you considered that part of your problem is right there? You're saying your possible depressive states become more fluctuating when you take a depressant.
