My dog just died.

A day before I go home for thanksgiving. I wish I could have seen him one last time and now I feel guilty that I didn't fly home for Ashok's wedding. This is like some sort of cosmic joke. Fuck God. Anyway, he was the best fucking little dog ever and I'm going to miss him terribly.

And if you're thinking of getting a dog, consider rescuing one from a pound or a kennel. Benny was a stud and when they were done with him, after making them thousands and thousands of dollars, they cast him off.



Bulldogs, in general, are great fucking pets, but I can't really recommend them to people in good conscience when we breed them to have these crippling defects that give them shorter, more sickly lives.

My family rescued a bulldog a couple years ago, and as dumb as the motherfucker is, he's one of the best damn pets in the whole wide world. I'm sorry for your loss, and I'd just like to throw my support in with the idea of rescuing a pet from the pound/kennel.
