Yes, that with the D win in Indiana is a good start.

harold ford jr. wasn't winning last i checked in tennesee... i wanted him to win even though he's not the typical democrat- i liked the article about him in, i think it was newsweek.

No surprise. Santorum was a dead man walking. The key will be Chafee, Allen, Corker/Ford, Talent, and Burns.

McCaskill/Talent is a scary dead heat.

Yeah, the Dems could count on those two pickups. Chafee and Burns were on that list a few days ago, but they're pulling even. I think this one will come down to the wire.

No way Burns holds his seat. Chafee doesn't matter so much to me since he's a Republican I can live with. ;) Although there is some indication he's going to lose. Apparently Liberman's name is at the bottom of the ballot in Conn. He's Joemega pissed.

According to the Department of the State:

CASEY, BOB JR (DEM) 26,378 77.9%
SANTORUM, RICK (REP) 7,468 22.1%

That's only a small percentage of the voters, but...damn!

Indiana could end up being +3 in Democratic house seats (AP just called Baron Hill in the 9th, but that's still close) by the end of the night... heh, most of the republican analysts in state have been downright depressed every time someone talks to them.
