True. I'm looking forward to the new Incubus album and Guns & Roses long delayed album Chinese Democracy that is supposedly shipping before the end of the year.

Chinese Democracy is on the schedule for 11/21. I'll believe it when I see it, but I don't care to buy it in the first place. :D

So, what did everyone else buy and like?

What did you think of Supersunnyspeedgraphic and the Hellogoodbye album?

The Hellogoodbye disc is shaping up to be one of my favorites this year, and I love me some Ben Folds (even though I had the EPs from a couple years back).

That said, I really enjoyed the new Format album. Probably my favorite all year, but I've heard good things about the Dresden Dolls CD, which I will be enjoying for the first time on my drive home tonight.

1. Tapes n’ tapes – the loon

That actually came out in 2005. If we're just counting albums that were bought this year, though, I have a few to add.

Let's see, this year I know I got a lot less cds than I normally do, but...
Beck-The Information-Awesome and then awesome some more. A solid album that I truly love.
The Raconteurs-Broken toy Soldiers-Really good and really short
Gnarls Barkley-St. Elsewhere-With the exception of one song, I really enjoyed the whole album
Jurassic 5-Feedback-Not as good as their other albums but still good to me.

I can't believe I still haven't gotten the Rhymefest album yet. Oh well.

I really like Hellogoodbye. A much more techno, danceable way to express young heartache and insecurity. Kinda like a younger, faster Head Automatica.

As for the Ben Folds ep, its alot of acoustic, which he excells at, and more of the fast mellow, emotionally wrenching and jaded songs we love him for. I really dig it.

I've heard a few, and I really liked them. I can't wait for this album to come out, so I can put it in my cd player and not take it out till early next year.
