You can't play with 'em. :?:

(PS: We really need a Riddler smiley - at least the question mark.)

Because they look cool.

They look cool, and can be inspiring. Comics is a visual hobby, man. I can appreciate a good 3D rendering for the "artwork" involved.

it's neato to see a 2D character come to life in 3D

it's neato to see a 2D character come to life in 3DAren't they just as mobile and active as their 2D counterparts?

To plant my geek flag.

I'll accept that. I personally like the Ponchos mexican food flag. If you know what a Ponchos is, you will enjoy that reference.

I've bought them cause they make nice decoration around the room/house. They add that personal geek touch.

How old are you?

It has been decades since I "played" with my toys.

I buy "Statues/Figurines/Busts/Inaction Figures" largely as decoration. I put them on shelves and marvel at how nice they look.

I do take them out of their packages, but I don't really play with 'em. I do have a pretty big JLU collection that I do allow my 2 year old to play with.

I bust out my ecto one and give it a spin around the carpet once a year. You just are no fun!

I don't, 'cause I can't afford it. But I wish I could. There's some really nice statues at the local comics shop. If I were rich, I'd have those babies all over my office.

Yeah, the price is the issue. If they looked as good as they do and were only $5, I would have them all.

Oh sure...alot of my action figures are put on a shelf and displayed...butthat doesn't mean I don't take them down and play with them every now and then. :D

Just cause I'm 24 years old doesn't mean that mentally I'm not 12.

Exactly! I really need to have a boy already. I want to play with those action figures again and have a valid reason to buy them.

Because this:

is much nicer-looking than this:

(Even though I own both. Beggars can't be choosers.)

They're a classy way to show the stuff I like. (Plus I live under the illusion that I'm the curator of a museum in my living room.)

I do have to say that I love playing with the big 10" Justice League figure with my son. He loves them and they look so big in his hands... it's hard not to laugh.

Tommy Edwards has an Ironman statue to see how light reflects off the armor.

I don't have any, and probably will never own any until McFarlane comes out with a Hellboy line and includes Lobster Johnson. Or a Sin City line that has more than just Marv.
