I have been collecting Bowen bust since soon after the first Marvel contract. I have all of the original versions of Avengers characters, all Iron Man busts and statues, and several of the Avengers villains. I just picked up the Wonderman Bust the other day. I am a big fan of Bowen sculptures.

The only character I feel my collection is in dire need of at this point is Ms. Marvel.

I own the Thing and Mr. Fantastic...I was going to complete the set, but the Invisible Woman disappeared before I could find one, and I hated the way the Human Torch came out...

No, I bought it when it first came out...The original Bowen Richards bust came out in a set of three. I did not know of a subsequent one.

Can you show me a picture of the one you are talking about?

A Ms. Marvel mini-bust would be cool.

One thing I dig about Bowen Designs is that he doesn't just stick with the big name characters. He sprinkles them in, but name another line that has the diversity of characters Bowen does.

Welcome Randy. It's a little quiet at first but things will heat up. Word of advice, don't take stuff personally. ;)

I grew up in a family where I've developed a thick skin. This place can't be dysfunctional...CAN IT!!??

When I saw this board listed under Ethan Van Sciver's board I kinda thought it was some sort of glitch. When I realized that nope, it's here, I was incredibly excited. I've been collecting since the beginning of phase two and can't wait to see what else is in store. I haven't managed to get every bust of phase two or three as money is sometimes an issue, but hopefully I'll be able to collect all the ones I really want, and going back and searching out phase one busts can sometimes be a chore, but it's well worth it when they show up!

You sculpting Ms. Marvel is great news. Your other sculptors always do a great job, but I love seeing "Sculpted by Randy Bowen" on the box.

The ones that I own are from 1999, and they are the full-sized Mr. Fantstic and Thing statues...

Did Bowen make the Phoenix and Dark Phoenix statues as well as the FF where each of the FF characters bases connected to make a square? I personally love each of those, but esp the Dark Phoenix one... Must find for cheap somewhere....

The FF's bases don't really connect, they just look like they do. I own all 4 and the FS Dr. Doom statue, which is one of BD's best pieces ever.

And yes, they did the green and red Phoenix FS statues. The green is a water base and the red is a fire base.

FYI - The FF statues don't really make a square, their bases just kinda look like they do. I have all 4, and the Dr. Doom FS too:

Yup! I just won a regular Phoenix FS statue last night, and can't wait for it! Here are the 2 versions they made, the Dark Phoenix is the rare one:

If you want a cheap one, there are mini-statues which are the same thing, except they are 1/2 the size. They look like glorified action figures to me, so I don't get any of them but they are a cheap alternative.
