Priceless.

Before coming to Michigan, Bush was in Des Moines, Iowa, at lunchtime. He helped raise $400,000 for the state Republican Party and congressional candidate Jeff Lamberti. The president mistakenly referred to Lamberti as "Dave" throughout his speech.

. . .he doesnt give a shit about this guy . . .

That's part of it too, he doesn't give a shit about anybody, even the guys in his party who he needs so he can keep pushing his bonehead ideas through Congress.

At least he didn't say "insert candidate's name here" throughout the speech.

"I've known [insertnamehere] for many many years, heh, and I can tell you, [insertnamehere] is one of the best friends I've ever had in congress. [insertnamehere] has been a stalwart supporter and, heh, faithful party man. Last time I was around these here parts [insertnamehere] asked to marry my daughter, well, I just told [insertnamehere] that if he voted my way I'd think about it! (wait for laugh) heh heh... Just kidding [insertnamehere]. Seriously, I would take it as a personal favor to me, Greg Bush, if you would vote for my good friend, [insertnamehere]. Thank ya, and gawd bless America!

Remember when Reagan was stumping for Cong. Don Nickles and called hims Don Rickles half a dozen times?
The sad part is he's the second smartest of the last three GOP presidents.

And he STILL raised $400,000. What is wrong with people!? (Granted, the money was probably given before the speech)

The sad part is he's the second smartest of the last three GOP presidents.I remember when Reagan endorsed George H. W. Bush for President. He said "eight years ago, George Bush and I . . ." when he said Bush it rhymed with lush. I still like to use that pronunciation.
