I cannot tolerate the moronic time-wasting behavior of the "this was already posted somewhere else" crowd. I truly wish Bendis would make such posts bannable.

I'm rather amazed Dr. Seuss isn't #1. I can't imagine we're the only people in America who grew up on those books, then bought them for our kids. That just seems like a perpetual motion merchandise machine.

I was surprised initially that John Lennon was so low, and then once the list reminded me of Elvis I was shocked Cobain could catch him.

I suspect Cobain is a bit of nostalgia from our generation and a bit of curiosity from the one about 10 years behind us. I imagine we did the same thing to John Lennon's value in our day.

The only reason he was number 1 this year is that she sold off 25% of the all time rites to his songs. It's a one time thing.

I appear to have missed something here (deleted post I'm assuming?) but I completely, 100% agree with you man. Those guys are really fucking annoying and pretty damn pathetic if they need it known that "I posted this first!!!1 oh noes!!1!1" :roll:

I don't know how many threads I've started got duplicated, and I always joked around, obviously so, in the newer threads. Otherwise, who gives a shit. News is news, no matter where you read it.
