....details lateness? I am not talking about the 'late shipping' list every week, I am more referring to one that lists when a book was originally supposed to ship, and how many months it has now been delayed.

When thinking about books like Daredevil: Father (which I don't think will ever finish) or All Star Batman and Robin (whose latest issue has now been pushed back until January 07--meaning that only one issue came out this year, I believe)

I'd love to have a list like that, so that you could note what creators are constantly late on books.

I understand it is not always the fault of the writer or artist (or either), but a list like that would definately go a long way in seeing who 'the usual suspects' are over a given period of time.

This is an interesting idea. Why don't you start doing it? Bust out the excell spread sheet and update it when the companies post the late books. I would be interested in seeing it 5 years from now.

I don't have that kind of dedication.

Ah. well it has to get done somehow. And you are one of the true people I would trust to not skew the data. It is all on your shoulders now!

But will anyone be around to read it other than the cockroaches?

Daredevil Father would've been done by now, if the story wasn't "so big, so emotional, and so personal" that it needed to expand to six issues. But I don't think it'll be delayed again, seeing as how the hardcover has already been solicited to December.

I don't think a book waiting on the inker and colourist will never end ;)

I buy lots of books that are regularly late and don't see how I've been hurt in anyway.
