I thought you might want to know about Ms. Marvel being in Ultimate Alliance! Quoted from the VIP Section of course.
Hey VIPs,
With the launch of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance rapidly approaching, we are pleased to confirm two MORE characters for your roster! One is across all platforms and the other is a PSP-exclusive. It’s a MARVELous Friday with the confirmations of Ms.. Marvel and Captain Marvel in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance!
Not only are two new playable characters revealed today, but if you check out the MEDIA + VIDEO section, you will find two brand new VIP-exclusive videos featuring Captain America and Dr. Strange! Plus, yet another behind-the-scenes video will be posted soon.
Captain Marvel is one of the four PSP-exclusive characters in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Interestingly enough, he once shared a romance with Ms. Marvel, aka Carol Danvers, who was investigating him while working as a CIA agent with Wolverine and Nick Fury early in her career. Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel formed a romantic bond during the investigation and ended up adventuring together for a time.
Ms. Marvel is a playable character from the beginning of the game across all platforms. Her genetics were altered when she was exposed to a Psyche-Magnitron which enabled her to have powers of flight, super-strength and the ability to emit concussive blasts from her hands. These were all stolen when she encountered then Brotherhood villain Rogue however, and she fell into a coma with her powers and memories stolen away.
She did recover eventually and joined the X-Men, and later became known as Binary with new powers – which were sacrificed once again to save the world. Now she is part of the Avengers and known as Warbird, with her original powers that Rogue stole back.
Ms. Marvel’s various costumes, including Warbird, Binary, her original outfit and one as Sharon Ventura, will be posted after the game launches so stay tuned. In the meantime, check out these awesome powers in the game:
Luminous – A powerful force blast.
Photon Burst – Spawns multiple energy balls that orbit Ms. Marvel and attacks enemies that come into range.
Explosive Touch – Charges an enemy with explosive energy that blows up after a time.
Mega Blast – Fires a blast of energy into the ground, causing radial damage and reducing attack speed of enemies.
Prism – Shoots energy beam that can split off and hit multiple enemies.
Binary Boost – Added Energy Damage to attacks and increases Energy Damage resistance for Ms. Marvel and allies.
Cosmic Awareness – Slows time for everyone except Ms. Marvel and her allies.
Warbird’s Wrath – Xtreme attack with massive flash of light that does Energy Damage and stuns enemies.
Special Throw – Tosses the enemies over her head, slamming them into the ground.
