What I find most fascinating is how completely American it feels. Listen to Seu Jorge's last solo album (not the Life Aquatic stuff) and you'll hear a lot of his culture mixed in with the American influence. This just sounds like somebody ran Generic Rap Act 73-B through Babel Fish and posted the results. Incredibly interesting and terribly sad all at the same time.

ill tell the story of how i discoverd this group. I was in japan about 3 years ago and we were playing pool with my sister in law and her husband to be. I hear the song from the 1st video on the speakers and say "wow this is different" so i ask my wife to ask the guy working there who it is. He has no idea other then they are some new group with 2 highschool girls rapping. So now i go to every music store in Hakata asking my wife to ask the sales people if they have any idea what the hell im talking about. Finally after about the 5th store someone says "oh yeah i heard of them, here's the new single."

...and scene.

i do have 2 of their cds if anyone in the seattle area is intested in burninating them.
