So it's not the Erol Flynn or Kevin Costner movies?

The trailer looks a bit campy. Is it supposed to be more comedy adventure or Drama? Either way I might give it a go if it wever makes it across te pond.

Damn straight I am. It's got some great reviews from those that have seen the first few, it looks fantastic, and it's got Keith Allen.
I'm all over it.

Since the football I'm currently watching leads right in, I'll give it a try, although so far none of the advertising has overly enamoured me to it.

Didn't even know this existed...but it does look interesting...gotta love that new Director of BBC/Wales Drama!

Not the greatest start in the history of pilots. Aside from Robin himself the acting is pretty poor (no sign of Keith Allen yet), it's shot like an episode of Relic Hunter and has some odd sub-Stargate music.
They seem to be going for Indiana Jones in the countrysides of Britain!

Overall I would say marginally more of a success than a failure. Keith Allen was as good value as everyone probably thought he would be and at least the second half actually had some compelling drama. But the action was still clumsy and the music is just damned odd.
6/10 and will give the second episode a chance.

Very unexpected and a great initial teaser, laying it out nicely and showing some of the good stuff. Can't wait.

Was a better first episode than Eccleston's first Who, so I'll keep with it :)

I saw a trailer for Torchwood in front of The Departed at my local cinema today, and rather than 'Coming Soon' like on the television, it gives a date of October 22nd, which is two weeks today!
Yippee(!)

it was okay, not great, just watched the first eps of BSG and it was no contest tbh. BSG beats it hands down.

It does that nice trick of tongue-in-cheek action - comedy and drama fused together rather than existing separately.
