I received my copies of the Oeming Sketchbooks Vol. 2 and 3 in the mail yesterday and was extremely pleased. Vol. 3 is especially nice. It's full-sized, square-bound prestige format, with heavy stock glossy cover. Mike clearly went all out to put together a very professional package and I feel he accomplished it.
One of the things I enjoy most about sketchbooks is being able to see artwork in its most raw form. It helps me to sort of understand a bit better about the creative process and what kind of thinking goes into the end product that we see on the finished pages of our comics.
Great job, Mike and thanks for sending these out so quickly.

One of the girls I went to the convention with thought the Lord of the Rings sketches were great. It's a nice book.
