Hi all, I virtually never plug my interviews here but I'm hoping the mods will let this one go as it's with board regular Ethan Van Sciver.

Interview is here: http://www.CollectorTimes.com/Clubhouse.html

I conducted this interview in person at the Toronto HobbyStar Fan Expo on Sept. 2nd. In it Ethan talks about his crazy first publisher that locked him in his house, refused to let him leave until he drew his Christian kiddie comics - and also how badly they sold. We also go into CyberFrog, why it stopped, breaking in at Harris Comics, then DC and the reasons for the move, the difference between DC and Marvel politics, his love for Geoff Johns as a collaborative partner, his thoughts on the new Flash / former Impulse and more.

Also there are two con reports (with photos) here:
http://www.collectortimes.com/cons.html
Cons covered are Dragon Con and Toronto HobbyStar Fan Expo.

Within the Toronto HobbyStar Fan Expo report and MP3s of numerous panels, including a "DC Big Guns" featuring Ethan Van Sciver, Geoff Johns, Terry Dodson and Jim Lee.

DC comics are selling better but not as much as Marvel. So I don't see how that is true. But DC is connected to Time Warner so they could get more money easily to pay more artists and writers.
