Okay, this is one of my pet peeves. It's not ya'll. It's y'all. Now I know you want to stick the apostrophe next to the double L since that's how it's done in other contractions (such as you'll and we'll and I'll), but is it that hard to understand how contractions work? The apostrophe goes in the place of removed letters. Ya'll would seem to imply that the extended phrase is ya will, which doesn't make a lick of sense in context. The actual phrase that is being shortened is you all. The "ou" is removed and replaced with the apostrophe -- leaving you with the contraction y'all.

Now what's so difficult about that?
