I'm fairly new to DC at the moment.Currently reading JLA,Justice,All Star Superman,Superman, and Detective Comics.

I was looking to get into either the Flash,GL or Wonder Woman.I've heard some good things about GL and was wondering if I should pick up the first year of it,or just wait until the next arc,"Hal Jordan Wanted" starts up.

GL is a character I always thought was cool, but never read.I think the real turning point was the GL Oath in Superman Red Son,that was very cool!

Anyways, any help would be appreciated as always!

I think Hal Jordan wanted will be a good jumping on point. The OYL arc was the bomb, but might not be so appreciated by someone new to the DCU.

edit - and the earlier issues of the relaunch are fairly hit and miss. I'd recommend skipping out on those.

WW is very good. I would recomend getting Greg Rucka's run till now. It was a shame IC came and messed up Rucka's run though. I got the feeling he had some might big plans and had to cut them short. The OYL WW is great so far as well.

Same here, one of my housemates let me read his issues of GL Rebirth and I really liked it, without having read any previous GL stuff. So now I read the GL series and GL Corps.

Green Lantern by a mile. Amazing title. Start with Rebirth, slog your way through the early issues, and enjoy the inspired lunacy of the OYL title when you get there.

Although I'm not completely in love with GL Rebirth in it's entirety, the first few issues are great. The first issue, in particular, really hooks you in. It's a very strong opening and had me on pins and needles as it was released. The story also does a great job of explaining things to a new reader and a lot of the events in the GL mythology that have occurred since revolve heavily around Rebirth.

UPDATE:

I picked up Rebirth and the rest of the current GL series by Johns.

Rebirth blew me the fuck away.Great pacing, action, drama, humor, everything. This was a great story which just let loose.

No Fear was OK at best, but #7 onwards has been fuckin' great.
