Someone on antoher board recently pondered whether or not the Thor-clone of CW#4 would be the Thor we would see in the new Thor title coming out.
This is what I think...
This Thor clone was made from the genetic stuff of the "real" Thor. It is physically identical to him, but lacks the "I-stuff" of the "real" Thor... the experiences, personality traits, et al that make Thor Thor.
Now, metagenetics postulates that there is a link between personality, memory, and genetics. So, I think that, maybe, this Thor-clone will eventually tap into that metagenetic memory-horde, tap into it's "Thor-ness, and for all intents and purposes become the Thor we all know and love... personality and all.
Thoughts?

I think that'd bother a couple of Thor fans. Still, it's an interesting theory.
Only thing I see for now in this Thor's future is getting ripped in half by either the Hulk or the real Thor. :)

That would kick ASS.

I don't think so. We've already seen elsewhere "DB" pick up the real Hammer and then the lightning flashed presumably transforming him into Thor. I think the clone will be destroyed by the real Thor.

Didn't Pym say that maybe they needed to unite Clor with Donald Blake (or whatever his name is), to get the old Thor back? And didn't JMS say that the human/god Thor would be back in the new series?

He said that perhaps it'd be best to unite him with a human host, and used Donald Blake and Jake Olsen as examples of it being done in the past (they were both at one point Thor's human identity).

Yeah, well, he'll probably get killed by the real Thor.

I'm telling you. They'll probably send it after the Hulk during "World War Hulk" (awesome title for a story, by the way) and the Hulk will proceed to cave its skull in. Either that or Tony will attempt to use it in a future issue of Civil War, and then out of nowhere the real Thor will come out and beat the crap out of it. Sort of like Cap returning the favor and deploying his own secret weapon against Tony.

Incidentally, when exactly is the new Thor series supposed to start?

Don't think they've given a start date yet.
