Have you ever had the thought that if you weren’t in your day job today that no body would really give a shit and that you would not be anyway missed.. Lets face it most of us at work now will be listening to music, on the net, catching up on a comic list.. I would say I spend 5% of my week at work actually working

That's the civil service for you.
And yes, I'm training on new w--k at the moment and there isn't even enough of it to keep me occupied so they're giving me all amount of tedious crap which doesn't really matter.
I'm off to get another coffee.
Tis the way of my corporate life...no regrets.

Week split (while at work)
35 % emailing you, bubbles, the egg man, perfect despair,
20 % bendis board
20 % story board ideas
10 % sleeping / listening to music
10 % walking around the office (meaningfully)
5% working

I pretty much keep this company running, yet I post on here chit-chattin' with the boys all day long. It's just a matter of balance.

I'm full of 'em.
Amongst other things.
I kinda feel bad about not doing more. I could be much more productive - but I just don't care about the responsibilities I have.
This isn't the same as hating my job (last job I hated my boss)- which I don't - I just don't have a passion for entering data and updating price lists. Occasionally, I get to flex my creative muscles - but those times are few and far between.
