I think this was the first time I solved the case before House did. Go me!

Great episode, though it is a tad disappointing to see the show go back to status quo. I guess it isn't really status quo then, because I'm sure the fact that he was able to live without pain for a short period of time will just make him even more cranky now.

Yeah well, House without his Limp is not House. Like Sherlock Holmes without his Cocaine Addiction is not Holmes.

Also, I thought this episode was pretty badass. Just the condition. The last time I heard of it was on that crap they call CSI.

I really don't feel like watching it; does anyone want to give me an absurdly short recap?

I thought it was a weak one, didn't enjoy it.

House sees a patient. The team makes several guesses as to his condition, each one of them incorrect. Finally they find what they believe to be the right condition, and cure him, but the patient then has a dramatic relapse. House realizes that their original assumptions were wrong, they cure the patient and everyone is happy. Except for House.

I want to watch this show so bad but I haven't seen it from the beginning. I home to watch the DVDs over winter break later this year.

7 year old boy thinks he is being abducted by aliens and rectally probed. Turns out he was an in vitro fertalization and when he was an embryo he merged with another embryo. They removed the foriegn DNA and saved boy.

Subplot - House found out that they lied last week about his diagnosis being wrong. His leg hurts more, it's going back to normal

What about the leg?
EDIT: That'll do it. Thanks.

It's really not all that serial.

I know. But the few episodes I've seen I've really liked and I want to watch all of it. Like I need another medical show, but I like Singer and Hugh Laurie.

Be prepared. The first eight or so episodes were made to establish a pattern so the viewer could get comfortable w/ the show before the series really progressed. Watching them close together can drive you to drinking. There are parts where the dialogue between episodes is the same. Ugh.

I love watching this show so much. It makes me squee, especially when I figure out what's wrong before they do :D

ALthough it pisses me off that the dvds cost so much. I luckily got the first season for only 22 dollars at Target when it went on sale.

I haven't gotten to see the second season because of work, and it looks to be the same for this season.

I enjoyed it. Especially the cool alien sequences.
