I got home from spending the day in D.C., kicked back on the couch to vegitate to the sounds of Raw and picked up my drawing pad to knock some of the rust off my drawing arm. I wanted to do some drawings related to my comic, work out designs, and practice on one of my weaker areas (realistically defining muscles of the forearm).
I did some loose sketches - maybe 5 minutes or so - and had to put it down. I had absolutely zero interest in drawing.
I had absolutely zero interest in doing anything. I hope this was just a need for some end-of-the-day relaxation, but I'm scared it's something bigger.
Anybody have any advice for remaining motivated and inspired?
I'm really going to need it as the time to start drawing my book nears . . .
