my library buys the crappiest stuff. 90 percent of all comic books there are manga........it pisses me off really bad.

I want to know how Ellis' Ocean reads in one go. I had no fucking idea what was going on in bi-monthly installments, or however long between issues it was.

I used the Roseville branch...but they're all interconncted now anyway...LOTS of great stuff available. The on-line catalog makes life SO easy to request stuff.

Word. I need to get Promethia and more Usagi Yojimbo. They have the oversized Authority hardcover too. It's massive!
FYI: The Minneapolis library system has more volume than any other system in America. New York, LA, Seattle... nope! Minneapolis.

Promethea is outstanding.
Loved the Authority
and I've read only a smattering of Usagi...also good.

Surprising, idn't it, considering all the mouthbreathers 'round town?

Honestly? So far it's meh. Started it last night but it's not really grabbing me. It seems more like an exercise in depravity than an actual story (and I'm usually a fan of that). I really don't care what happens to anyone in that book.

Good to know. Thanks.
