if i wasn't already in new york i would definitely drop the books off. ah well, these are the breaks. would've been nice to meet you without the hustle and bustle of wizard world or other con (dynamic forces fan fest), but i'll fight my way to the front of your table to get the thor (still can't find the first issue of your thor run :( ) and stormbreaker books signed then. i'll have to call the store when you're there to make sure they don't forget to get me a Quixote signed by you and brian. (is there a bigger sign of being a dork than having your LCS' phone number in your cell phone? should i just put a red 'G' on my chest?).

this also gives me more time to think of another sketch for you to do. i've already got thor and modi. then again, if i get anymore from you i might just have to title my sketchbook "mike oeming draws for me"

just so you know mike. if there's a phone call to the store at around 6:30 and rob (one of the workers) is laughing on his end of the phone, it sounds like a lot of yelling is on the other side of the phone, then you and brian are asked to sign a copy of quixote (with a little thumbnail sketch if possible), that one will be for me. :)

SHIT! I went to Brave New Worlds last night to pick up my books and saw the signed copy of 86 Voltz on the shelves and realized you had already been there for the in-store. Pissed that I missed it Mike, but wanted to thank you and Bryan for signing all of the copies for those of us who didn't know you were there. That was a really nice gesture and a pleasant surprise when I showed up yesterday. (Moral of the story -- I have to come HERE more often!!!)
