Eros seems to be a serial mass rapist under the protection of a foreign power: his daddy. Surely the US government would be intrested in getting him back to face justice, not that they're exactly storming Normandy again to extract Roman Polanski, but Mentor got a little hot under the collar to get his boy back that threats were made which although declared in private the sentiments of which would have been probably repeated later on as the State Department in good faith officially asked for the clement return of their prisoner.

The US Government probably is still wary of Titan after the Visons failed attempt to take over the world 20 years ago after some of Issac's programming got smudged over the top of his own that the Vision suddenly believed earnestly Earth needed a central machine intellect to govern everything. A collection of nations including America already vivisected the Vision for that fracas so they'd all just be waiting for an excuse to retaliate further after so blatent and overt an invasion if you consider how bitter and twisted the power-mad are that revenge IS a dish best served cold.

I'm thinking there's a "Cold War" in effect here without even bringing Thanos killing half the worlds population into the picture. Is that stretching the facts too much to think that Titans visiting Earth first being illegal aliens and second unregistered metahumans would be hog tied and detained on sight which would only anger Mentor even more because they're too prideful to consider themselves anything but free range demigods egar to smack a little hubris on the uppity mortals?

Say what you will about the Cuban Missile Crisis and Fidel Castro, but Mentor and Titan is the interplanetary equivilent that that moon out there with no affiliation to any human governement has the first strike capabilities to destroy America or any other country on the planet within minutes of willing them dead whether they deserve it or not. Practically an enemy mine in Earth's jockstrap it's so too close for comfort.

C'Mon Dan if the Inhumans can declare war in the pages of Son of M, why don't the Tititanian Eternals get to join the melee since everyone else is ganging up on the States? Possibly a stray offside throwaway comment in She Hulk since you seemed to have laid the ground work for yet another front in (Marvel)Bush's crusade? Or do you already have a larger plan I'm just scratching the surface of?

Sounds to me to be a good premise for an event, but I think I will wait and see what happens in She-Hulk 11,12 and 13 before deciding. It could be that you have hinted at what is to come.
