Awful truly doesn't begin to describe it...it's been a loooooong time since a film literally put me to sleep....seriously, I was actually falling asleep.
Dull, dull, dull nonsensical crap.


And guys, what happened to Kristen Bell's acting talent?
I don't love Veronica Mars, but in that show she emotes somewhat decently...here she basically sleepwalked through the film, reading her lines as a drone, devoid of any conviction...


Just my 2 cents.
The film wasn't scary or shocking or bloody or disturbing or anything...
is it true that it was toned down to get a PG 13 rating?

i largely agree, but i'm biased. my theater was filled with enough people that i wanted to kill or maim that i had a hard time focusing.

i did come up with something interesting regarding a particurly load fellow, a rusty butter knife and his scrotum.

Yeah, I watched the Japanese original last week, and it was horrid. So much random stuff happened you couldn't have a clue what was going on. And it wasn't even the least bit scary.
