They may be doing you a favor if they don't hire you. better professional standing - that may be why they wouldn't give you the job.
What do you have experience with?

I am a fan of the SuperSonic Cheeseburger from Sonic! I prefer sonic over all other fast food burger joints. However, I do love me some breakfast burritos from Whataburger! Damn good stuff!

If you are just kinda floating at the moment, I would suggest a credit union or somewhere like Lowes or something. I personally would never want to go back to food. The credit union gig is pretty sweet. You start out as a teller making like $10/hour and can move on to loan officers or the ppl who set up accounts. they make like 15 or so an hour.
Sorry to hear about the last part. I hope you are ok now.

I think that comics are addictive enough that you should be able to plop those into that spot. The drug screening would be a problem I guess. Maybe go be a day laborer! you get paid cash every day!

you havent been in texas this summer, right?
well, its been a constant 100 degrees this summer...
also, at the last job i worked, i worked for a remodel crew, where all i did was manual labor, building and tearing down shit, doing warehouse work, and the like...
i WILL do it, but i dont like it... the bulk of it was indoors, but the outdoors wasnt too pleasant either, considering it was that winter a few years ago where it was super cold constantly...
i kept that job til it was done...

I am partial to the Super-Sonic Cheeseburger. I would rather have a heaping burger from several other places though. My uncle has two restraunts off Regal Row in Dallas, and his burgers rule all other as far as food food joints go.
