She has a slight Misty Knight doo going on, but other than that I really like it.

Holy shit! That fucking rules! I love how you cropped the legs and the slighty dreamy/sleepy look in her eyes. Is that all painter? Or did you start it tradionally and finish it up digitally maybe? Either way, that's an awesome piece, and whoever eventually gets to own it is one lucky S.O.B!

Alex, you RAWK!
But am I the only red-blooded male who doesn't think Scarlet Witch was all that and a bag of chips? Seriously, I never got all the lusting for her. She has the second most absurd headpiece* in the history of hero costumes... and that's including all the other Kirby headpeices
*The MOST absurd? Stryfe. Seriously, what were they thinking? The guy couldn't even nod his head without losing vital portions of his anatomy...
... but I digress...

That costume is ridiculous. I mean, I've always known that, but I haven't realized how ridiculous it was, until now.
It still looks awesome though. Great job.

Why?
For me, I like the gold inlays in her cape, as it gives more form and variety to the mass of red washes.
Edit: also, you can see the outline of her hand and arm better, distinguishing the form and fold of her attire even more.
JABSEN

Why?Not really sure. Maybe I like the slightly lighter looking tone. I mean they both look great.
EDIT: and some of the stuff Jeff said.

Guys, that's the final cover. The one with her hands and the golden elements in the cape. I fucked up on the upload and put stage 3 as the final. I'll fix that.

Alex quick qustion for you on the final piece. What's the significance of the faint faded hand in the lower left hand corner of the piece? It doesn't look like it's her hand because both of her shoulders are up high from putting on the robe. So is it just there for effect, or is my brain just processing the image wrong?

Alex, everyone who draws the Scarlet Witch from now on needs to use this painting as a model. It's an amazing unique face. It truely adds to the character.

Follow the line of the arm and you'll see it connects. What throws you off is that the cape has a little pink stroke where the arm meets and that is my bad. I'll fix it if it's not too late.

Ah, okay I see what you're saying. My brain just isn't working correctly from lack of sleep and too much coffee. Thanks for setting me straight. ;)

That's excellent work Alex.
I really like the watercolor version best.
But the added gold pattern on the cape is a damn fine touch.
Are you doing that water color technique on the Spider woman book too?
i'd imagine it might speed up the process by blocking in the color elements.

I'm afraid that will have to wait till a creative own project.

Very cool, Alex. Curious, if you think of it, what made you give her that almost-eyes closed look? (I'm not saying I don't like it; it's actually pretty cool, but I was curious what you were going for).

Her eyes look at you under her eyelids, they glow a little, maybe tears...

Scarlet Witch definitely has an interesting taste in fashion :D I still see her as one of the sexiest of the X-Men universe's women. Right beside Storm and White Queen. Speaking of, have you ever drawn either of the two, Alex?

Haha, fantastic way of putting it ^_^ While we're on the subject, who do you think would be the best screw out of ever female in the Marvel universe? I'm going to have to go with someone less obvious than White Queen.
...Okay, forget it. White Queen.

I forgot about her. @_@; She's definitely an interesting character as well, but I never heard of her before I read DD volume 2... I noticed that you drew her in the same basic pose every time she appeared- 3/4 view and she always looks really suspicious. :) Really cool. Did you purposely draw her that way?

=D Yeah, you accomplished that easily. :) Although I'd love to see her out of her uniform as well, with her hair down, maybe?
And I almost forgot the black Widow!! :D That one shot you had of her on the cover looking over her shoulder- was that inspired by the erotic art you used to draw? It looked very porn-starish, but realistic at the same time- I always liked how your poses were never hands-on-hips and cheesy.

I think Typhoid Mary would be a kinky screw. I mean she's kinda hot and well...She would definately be freaky in bed.
I've always had a thing for Jean Grey. Maybe Kitty. So many to choose from...

It is one of the most beautiful renderings of Wanda ever but she also had one of the most ridiculous costumes ever and I had hoped it was gone for good. Makes me almost wish Humberto Ramos had done the cover. That way no one would ever have wanted to see the glorified bathing suit and unitard ever again.
And the best lay in comics would have to be Mystique. Male, female, barnyard animals, you want it, she'd be it.
