The letters page in She-Hulk #9 says that he'll be the new artist. We heard the same thing about Paul Smith, so does "new artist" mean he's doing 2 issues? I approve of the choice, but I want some artistic stability on my comics that I collect.

I think Paul Smith has a bit of a reputation for short stays on titles... despite being famous for his Uncanny X-Men run, he only drew about ten issues of it, and before that he was the big new artist on Doctor Strange... for two issues (admittedly, he did return to Strange after his X-Men run). I think one and a half is a new record for him. Too bad because I like it.

I am a little dissapointed that he's gone. Really, I don't mind who the new artist is as long as they stick around for a while.

I mind that it's an artist that gels well with the book. So far, Juan Bobillo and Paul Smith have achieved that, whereas (outside of #100) most of the others haven't so much (Paul Pelletier did an admirable job but it didn't hold up either to Bobillo's runs or his own work on GLA; Will Conrad's very romantic style didn't suit the book at all in my opinion, although what little I've seen of his new style seems a lot more fitting).
Both Bobillo and Smith got it right straight off the bat, so I think She-Hulk is a book that doesn't require the artist to get used to - you either get it right or you don't. I haven't seen much of Burchett's work so I hope he's going to knock the other guys out of the park.

Here's a sneak peek at Rick's second page of SHE-HULK #10...

Thanks Dan! It looks great!
And is that Ruby Thursday I see shooting at Hellcat? I guess that means the Answer was able to find a way to restore her after the OUTLAW LOVE one-shot. Cool!

Looks good! Can't wait to see it in color. I hope that this will be the last of the 2 issue "regular" artists, though. The book needs to have stability.

I think Burchett has worked the best of the recent fill in artists. I hope he becomes the regular.

Well, he's solicited as the artist until at least #13, so it looks like he's sticking around for a while.
