Patrick Swayze says he turned down $7 million to star in a sequel to Dirty Dancing because the script was so bad. If the sequel had not been a stupid, formulaic piece of junk, I probably wouldn't have turned down a fortune, the actor told the London Times. Same with Ghost. Whoopi, Demi and I had to turn it down.



Funny, I'd say the same thing about the first Dirty Dancing. Didn't Conan O'Brien go on for months about bringing it back to the big screen years ago, and when they did, he made fun of the studio for not realizing he was being sarcastic all that time? God, I'd love to see those again.

He has apparently forgotten Dirty Dancing:Havana Nights. Although not a direct sequel it was still pretty shitty.

He has apparently forgotten Dirty Dancing:Havana Nights. Although not a direct sequel it was still pretty shitty.

Wonder how much he got paid for that?

From a budget of $25 million I am guessing he got scale.
