In Junes TPB sales charts She-Hulk appears twice

First at #14 is :ESSENTIAL SAVAGE SHE-HULK VOL 1 TP
This was actually the highest ranking Marvel book.
I know it is not a Slott book but it is at least partially indicative of how popular he has made the character.

And then at #18 is :SHE-HULK VOL 3 TIME TRIALS TP

Does anyone know whether this was great/good/ok/bad/abysmal?

Seems good to me but I don't know.

(and I suppose if anyone knows if these numbers on TPB would save the Thing could they share that too)

The chart I'm looking at (http://www.newsarama.com/marketreport/june06sales.html) puts Essential Savage She-Hulk second in the Marvel TPBs, behind Essential Fantastic Four #5, with Time Trials then the fifth-highest Marvel book. Out of 25 Marvel books on the list, that sounds pretty decent to me - though I'm just guessing.

While I'm guessing, though, I'd hazard another guess that Essential Savage might do a bit of good work in terms of getting readers to pick up current She-Hulk issues - not only does Stargod (Man-Wolf) feature prominently in one of the multi-issue arcs (the very 'first meeting' John and Jen talked about in vol.1 #5), but the second of the two character profiles in the back of the book, besides Shulkie herself, is, you guessed it, Man-Wolf. Looks like someone at Marvel saw the opportunity to make that connection, and hopefully get some of the interest Dan's work has put into Savage She-Hulk to pay off in reverse too.

I don't think the Diamond charts count much for TPBs, seeing as these are direct market charts and I believe that the bulk of the collections are sold through mass market outlets...?
