Huh..

Um.. ? I have nothing. No idea what it could be about. Maybe like a "history of the marvel universe" thing?

I'm guessing it's Marvel Comics Presents for the 21st century. Focusing on different characters from arc to arc.

Either way i'm interested.

Could this be the new reworked Spider-Man/X-Men Unlimited?

Sounds like Marvel Team-Up renamed for the Hollywood boy.

Hmmm, I dunno. I have a feeling it will be something similar to the backups DC is doing in 52 with Dan Jurgens.

I'm going to go on record saying that it WONT be anything like that at all.

I'm putting my money on it being a limited series in some sort of prestige format. Like a painted book or some such.

Cool. It's probably an anthology that Heinberg will do the first arc for. Either way, that's one arc I'm buying.

I have a feeling it will be nothing like that. Marvel already has its "history lesson" book with the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe. "The Marvel Universe" is probably going to be like a cross between MCP and MTU -- short, done-in-one stories featuring B-list characters who don't have their own titles.

Just got this off Millarworld from Jim McCann aka Jim@Marvel.

You'll see when the Atomic comics web page goes live that it was a typo. It was supposed to be "A Marvel Universe title scripted by Heinberg" (to differentiate from his DC - Wonder Woman - work)

So looks like it's simply a new mystery book by Allan Heinberg and has nothing to do with an updated MCP or MTU.

I guess it all depends on the book but after Young Avengers i'll try out Power Pack by Heinberg.

He IS starting in February 2007 by most accounts. As for why the delay...he's a TV guy and well that's about all you need to know.
