I like A as well, the font for Decimation catches my attention more than the others.

I'm going with A.
I have a question real quick though: did this comic ever have an ad on Digital Webbing for the logo?

Not to my knowledge. DECIMATION is actually a follow-up to DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES (http://www.arcanastudio.com/deadmen) from Arcana Studio. It was a sold-out hit, I might add. :D

I like the A design the best aestetically, but I voted B because I felt it was the most readable.

The top one (A) - but I think the line weight of the white line on the upper-middle-left of the "M" in MEN needs to be increased to set off the letter from the bone end. (Is that clear?)

Not sure what you're asking, but what I'm saying is that I tried to design a logo for it, and failed. It was my own fault though, it was a piece of crap, heh.

I think A & C are the best, and A is easier to read... so A.

A, by a mile. B just looks goofy, and in C the writing is too obscured by the blood, it's too hard to read at a glance.

B by a fucking mile.
You want it to be neat looking, but totally legible.
If some mook has to think about what the title is, he probably isn't gonna pick up the book.

I like B. It's a little more solid and more action oriented. The off center, tilted 'DECIMATION' invokes a sense of urgency, action, speed, adventure. It's more interesting and catches the eye better. The other's are too symmetrical and kinda dull.

b is my fave. i don't care for a or c mainly because the skull being over the text is distracting.

Definitely the first one -- A.
The logo is the most prominent and easy to read, but still retails the cracked look well. It matches the Dead Men logo the most as well. Also, the brighter and bigger red splat behind the skull really makes the skull pop and draws the eyes in. I would loose the dripping blood at the bottom. It's just too much and pulls the eye down in the middle instead of over to the right.

I like "A" the best (especially the dripping blood), except for the "Decimation" font. The 'Decimation' on "c" looks the best to me.
So a combo of A & C

I went with A cause I think C covers Decimation a little too much. But I prefer the font for Decimation in C.

HA! I read it 12 times before I noticed it was not DEAD MEN: DECATHLON
A. It looks like a title. B & C looks like they would be on a t-shirt.

I think the skull and crossbones needs to be scaled back some. My eye tends to be drawn to it and not the text -- not to mention that it covers up too much of "DECIMATION" in A and C.

I like them all, but I like A best. I normally don't prefer things that are centered, but this one is really boss, boss.
EDIT: I maybe like the shape of the blood splotch in C better, though. I'd switch the splotch, but keep it behind the text of "Decimation".

I said A was the clear winner the first time.
That really hasn't changed, but I do like the font for "decimation" in C. If you subbed that in to the A template, that might work better for me. The blood splatter and skull n' crossbones in A is the strongest.
Another reason A works is because of the line underneath Dead Men.. so the Decimation font flows better, but the colors is what throws it off. Still, it's great.. maybe shrink it up a little (75% of what it is now)
