reason 412 i am leaving the restaurant industry

an hour ago a lady came through the drive-thru at my store and bought 2 large iced teas. she comes in mere minutes ago and complains that i didn't put ice in the teas. i explain that, yes, i did but that was nearly an hour ago and it's 95 degrees outside so the ice obviously melted. of course i fix it and am nice about it but does my logic get through? oh, hell no! i'm a big fat liar!

i interviewed yesterday for a graphics dept. supervisor position nearby. please send out good prayers, thoughts, or whatever that i get this job. there's 2 others to be interviewed and i hope they turn out to be... less than sufficient in their mental capacities. i should hear something by the end of next week.

I have the exact opposite problem whenever I go get something at a Wendys or a Taco Bell; they load the fucking cup with all ice and I get like a thimble full of actual carbonated / caffinated beverage.
