one of three calls was bad - the blocking call. when one team gets 30 more fouls shots than another it's a completely different story.

They did, he got pushed in the back, the Refs didn't call it like they usually don't on last second shots (game 5 excluded). As much as I hate the Mavs (sorry all Rockets fans hate the Mavs), I think they got hozed just a bit.

Actually, the only thing that would have made it better was if the Lakers didn't make the playoffs this year, like they didn't last year.

My friend turned against the Heat this series, and said that they were despicable, and that if they did win, Wade deserved all 12 rings. I said, "Nah, he could have 11. Shaq just needs that 12th one to wave in Kobe's face."

Being a Boston fan (pro basketball is the only sport where I don't root for a New York team), I am sickened by the sight of Antoine Walker riding Wade and Shaq to a title. His wacky shot selection, his selfishness, and his lack of commitment to conditioning hurt the Celtics for years. Sucks that he got a ring when a lot of deserving players have been denied.

See, when Reggie Lewis died was when I quit following basketball closely. Big Celtics fan. Pierce and Antoine playing together gave me a little bit of hope, but Antoine kept screwing things up either by being selfish or bucking the coaches. I keep hoping they'll get some players around Pierce before it's too late.

Coaching has a lot to do with it. He started to be that way this season but learned his role and was a much different and better player towards the end and especially in the Playoffs. Same with Jason Williams.

Same with Jason Williams. As someone who wanted to see the Heat do well this season, both of those guys were "OH REALLY?" acquisitions for me. Riles managed to get what he needed from them, and didn't get any other whackiness, other than Walker's shot selection still sucks ass.

Really loved Shaq's postgame comments.

About Riley "The Great Pat Riley" Also when he mentions great coaches he's had, only mentions Riley and Dale Brown. Dale Brown?? You gotta be kiddin' me! That's gotta sting in LA.

About Wade "The best player" I've played with or best in NBA or something like that.

Yeah, he had some great quotes. The one he gave later was great, too. About this being the best team he's played on because there've only been 0.9 Arguments and he wasn't part of them.

Mavs will be back. They really showed their youth and lack of experience in this series and losing should help teach them what's needed to make the next step. I think they really looked too far ahead after game 2 and believed the local press.

Hopefully the city learns something, too. I mean, when I read the Dallas Morning News after Game 2 and saw the city already planning parade routes, it just blew my mind. Shaq even mentioned that tonight because Wade showed him the story online and they used it for motivation.

Congrats to the Heat. They just outplayed Dallas.

Though I have to say, at the risk of sounding like a whiner, that was the absolute worst officiating I have ever seen. I'm not blaming Dallas' loss on it, because Miami just played better. But that was just awful. I've never seen so many phantom fouls in my life.

As a South Florida native, I'm just so freaking happy right now. I get the happiest seeing Zo. It was tough in the 90s watching them lose again and again to the Knicks. The fans took it hard but I know Zo took it incredibly hard. Just very happy.

On the celebration note, man do I miss locker room celebrations on TV, all the champagne and hooting and hollering...just not the same in the middle of the arena...especially a visitors arena with the fans booing (although they were booing Stern not the Heat).

If anybody can point me to a video online of the Heat celebrating in the locker room I'd greatly appreciate it.
