Big fan of this show...Mamet and Ryan, what a team! I just hope CBS increases the budget a bit as a few of the episodes came off as a bit cheap.

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will release The Unit: Season One on September 19th. CBS' new hit mid-season series -- starring 24's Dennis Haysbert and created by legendary playwright David Mamet -- arrives with all thirteen action-packed episodes expected in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1. Extras on the four-disc set will include an audio commentary on the episode "SERE" (with producers Shawn Ryan, Eric L. Haney and actor Demore Barnes), an "Inside The Unit" featurette and deleted scenes. Retail is $49.98.

That's a bit pricey for basically a half-season of a show these days...

The last episode made no sense at all.

I might grab it. I've been addicted to The Shield lately, and I caught the first few episodes of this, and liked it, although not as much.

I loved The Unit. It took a couple of episodes to really get going with the characters and stories but when it did.... whooo!

I'll pick up the DVDs in September too.
