We have a faux wood floor.

I think it is called/spelled Pergo flooring.

The problem is, it is very dull.

We have had this wet/dry swiffery type thing, and it shines brightly....until it dries, and then the floor is dull as an old drunk with boring stories.

How/what can we use to get our store floor to shine like new....?

any suggestions.

Is there stuff I shouldn't be using on the floor...? don't want to ruin it.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

I would try the cleaning tips Greg cites, but my experience has been that at some point Pergo just stops shining, esp. if you or the people there before you weren't following the cleaning directions they gave (I think the shiny layer just gets worn off).

We use regular old vinegar to shine ours. I believe its diluted but you may want to Google that, too.

your welcome, i am just glad you didnt see my comment as the usual snarky internet do a search noob crap. because after i typed it i realized it had a chance it may come off that way. even though that isnt how it was intended.

Actually, I am glad you did that.

I misspelled the floor. (thought it was Prego, not Pergo--and I kept getting spaghetti sauces and italian restaurants. :lol )

After hitting your link, I did a few more searches. Vinegar and water seems to be the most common/acceptible method of cleaning that people seem happy with.

will do that tonight, after we close.

my wife has ours set to strict to avoid any potential embarassment while at school. i say it takes the fun out of searching on google. my day just isnt complete w/out my daily dose if unexpected and unwanted furry porn.
