i'm not sure how i feel about it as a concept
on one hand, it's easier than swimming through porn stars and booth girls to get to the people you want to meet, but on the other hand, everybody there's just making ink boxes on paper, why should Jim Lee and Peter Bagge have to sit in different sections?
and it feels like it's more of a "not primarily superhero cartoonists island", more than anything else
Gilbert Hernandez is published by Pantheon and DC, that's about as un-indie as you get
hmmm
makes me wonder
but it does make me wish i was going even more, so i guess it gets the job done
