Hi. I'm one to NEVER watch television at all, but my Dad is into a show called 24. So I bought him season 1 for his birthday. All i can say is that I've just been watching 24 for the past 22 hours, and made it all the way through the first season with very little stopping. I even called off work for it. It reminds me of reading Ultimate Spider-man. Lots of Diologe, blank stares, and drama, but it reels you right in. Bendis should write for this show seeing he's the king of dragging things out. It made a TV watcher out of me.

those first 13 episodes are classic. rest is spottier, overall good, but never has the frenetic pacing of the first 13 which were written together.

Season 2 almost made me believe there was a God it was so good.

First person to bring up the Kim/Mountain Lion incident gets a kick in the taint!

The only good thing about the Mountain Lion scene was that Elisha Cuthbert was wearing a tank top during it.

while i think some on the board might disagree, the 4th and 5th seasons were fucking brilliant.

Jack Bauer > you.

24 is the culmination of everything that is awesome and good, put into one hour segments once a week.

4 was the show at it's best IMO.

Yeah, I just got into the show myself. Almost done with the 2nd season. I've been wanting to watch it for awhile, especially the last couple of seasons, but I wanted to watch the first ones first. So, I ended up breaking down and buying all four seasons out on DVD, I am so hooked.

The only drawback is that I've been so busy watching this, that I haven't had time to watch alot of my other DVDs that I've bought in the past month or so.

For me the best season was #2, then 4, right now I put season 1 & 5 as a tie, but thats just because season 5 just ended and I havent had a chance to really digest it yet.

I thought 5 started great and kept it up for quite a while, but then it seemed to lose a little bit of momentum just before the end.

Season 3 started kind of weak I thought, and was pretty spotty for the rest of the season, before picking up at the end. Overall my least favorite one, but I do want to re-watch it on DVD and see if maybe its better the 2nd time around.

Im really excited that they are going to make a movie between season 6 & 7. Jack Bauer on the big screen baby, yes!

I feel your pain. After owning season 1 for about a year or two I finally got around to watching it... and it was soooo goood. It took me about three days to get through it, but on that last day I stayed up all night and morning to get through them.

24 is visual and mental crack!

I saw seasons 3 and 4 in the span of a week in January. I only recently heard of the tip to stop watching an episode in the middle if you want to quit.
