Im so happy for him, Im a big fan of his comics and music- check out CARROT BOY THE BEAUTIFUL and DON'T TRUST WHITEY- great cds of sarcastic fun music.

Anyway, from James' newsletter-

"Tomorrow is my 39th birthday (may 26), and I've got a #1 song! Hockey
Monkey is the #1 most-requested song on Sirius' Alt Nation station.
Every band we beat out is HUGE, and look at little old me sitting there
on top. It's unbelievable. It's been climbing the charts for weeks
now, but they've been playing it so much we thought for sure the
listeners would burn out on it. But no, so far they just want it more
and more.

Kochalka's music is as great as his comics. Don't Trust Whitey is solid, and his "greatest hits" (Our Most Beloved) gets regular spins at my place.

Our Most Beloved also includes a short DVD with the videos for "Hockey Monkey" and "Monkey Vs. Robot" and a couple others.

That's great, glad to see people taking on to his music. I've listened to a little of it, my friends' got it all he's letting me borrow eventually...

I've been a huge fan of that song since it was in the NHL Hitz game.

I can't wait for The Zamboni's split 7" with Harry and the Potters.
