View Full Version : Lark! What's your convention schedule, if any?
I'll be in San Diego and Wizard Dallas for sure, trying to do a few more if I can scrape up the funds.

NYC in June, Spain in July. After that, I'm not sure. No WW Dallas - I hate Wizard and that Dallas show bites. And San Diego is just so huge I don't do it anymore. I get overwhelmed, like a kid with A.D.D. at Chuck E. Cheese.

although I agree with you about SDCC, it's way too big.

Emo Kid Beat-Down. I got it from My Space an I think it partly has to do with the new Slayer album coming out on the same day. Don't know a lot more than that, other than it sounds like a great time. :twisted:

Understandable. You should totally go to the Heroes Con next year! I believe it's the weekend of June 14/15. So yeah, it would be cool to meet you in person. Your run on DD so far is great. :)

I really WANT to do Chicago, but there are two factors. The first is that I need to do my best to keep DD on schedule, and too much travelling means you all don't get your funny books on time and people at Marvel are not very pleased with me thankyouverymuch. The second is money. Wizard does not pay for guests to come to shows. Not only that, they make us buy our own tables. Wizard sucks. Anyhoodle, it would cost me a small fortune to go, and I don't have a small fortune.

Wow, that is total garbage. I had no idea Wizard ran their cons that way. I can't understand how a lot of the smaller creators that hit the Wizard shows can even afford it. It's a wonder they get anyone from the industry at all with that policy.

It's not as big as the kc planet comicon, but it's still a decent show and you can never go wrong with a con that has Phil Hester.
