Do you use any other myspace-style sites instead? I just signed up at Tagworld for the hell of it. Any good Myspace alternatives out there?

That's how I've been finding some of these. I'm just looking for more chances to whore my art.

Does Livejournal count? I only use it for the communities really.

just on pure numbers the AOL one is probably a good bet. At least next to myspace anyway.

LJ was the first blog site I ever joined. I still keep it updated with new drawings. Not a bad site, to be honest.
And of course I've got blogspot, flickr, and facebook, as well as that new Yahoo360.

Oh believe me, I know. I make sure not to directly post it to the site. All I have is a link on my page.

I actually just wrote a fairly stupid blog post about this one after I noticed you can use it to set up a summer camp social network (which seems like something you can't really do so well on the other sites). While logged in I decided to enter one of those online "hottest picture" contests.... it didn't go so well...

The yearbook site. It probably just isn't made for use with Safari or something.

what the heck does Safari do that freaks out so many sites? it always makes me nervous when I'm working on my own site...perhaps its just too cool for the average web site.

I really don't have a lot of trouble usually, but every once in a while I'll run into something.

If you're a student at Vernon Hills or Libertyville high schools, [north Chicago suburbs] you can get detention, suspended, or even expelled for saying 'fuck' on your MySpace page.
School officials in the north suburbs will vote tonight on a proposal which would crack down on social Web sites, such as MySpace.com.
The District 128 School Board of Libertyville and Vernon Hills wants to suspend or expel students for posting inappropriate material online.
Unanimously passed about an hour ago. Such bullshit....

PEARL JAM!!
You can actually listen to their new single on their page there. Kind of fun.
