That show is still on? They should cancel it already.

This is the final episode ever, the whole reason I decided to watch it.

I caught the last five minutes. as far as finales go I thought it sucked. That might be because i haven't watched the show in years and don't really care about it.

Well....
Eh.
Better than the rest of the final season.

My verdict: it was mediocre. Which is kind of sad, because I grew up watching scatered episodes of this show. I remember those first few seasons being pretty good and to have the finale not match that is just sad. Oh well.

I know this show has sucked recently. But the fact that Topher Grace came back for the final episode makes me indescribably happy.

it was good and bad.............good was the flashbacks and seeing Topher Grace again...........i was annoyed he was only on for the last 10 mins.......didnt feel like any closure with him and Donna.......but it was still pretty damn decent.

That was kind of the point of their whole relationship. I did think that the ending was pretty toothless, though.

same here. i was getting seriously pissed towards the end, thinking they were just teasing his return but not delivering.

If they forced the big reunion/reconcilliation, I wouldn't have bought it. I was OK with were they left it.

Agreed. I make no appologies for how much I've loved this show in the past, and this final season's been driving me insane with just how fucking bad it is, and Donna hooking up with that fruity dude with Farrah Fawcett hair, but this episode settled my worries for how things would end.
Long live Eric Foreman!

Jackie and Fez kissed.
Hyde's dad sold all the record stores except one, which he gave to Hyde.
Kelso showed up and was a retard.
Kitty and Red stayed in Wisconsin.
Eric came back. He and Donna kissed.

My only final wish would have been for Donna to ditch the blonde thing. I miss her being the hot redhead.

That 80's Show had a better finale than this. But I guess this show has been dragging along for a couple of seasons now.

Essentially.
It was sad, they really painted themselves into a corner over the years. So there really wasn't anything they could do to end the show short of showing Eric and Donna on New Year's 1990, married with kids.

Agreed. They should have ended it with the ending from last season, when Topher left the show. That was a decent high note to go out on, and that season was still pretty funny.
Season eight's basically been a ton of wheelspinning.

Did ANYTHING happen?
Except for them completely forgetting about the guy from Mad TV at the end of the show?
He was around for the Packers tickets scene, but was wierdly nowhere near the New Year's Eve party.
Then again, he probly saw Topher coming from a mile away too.

I'd have loved to have seen Eric and Kelso shave his head while he slept or something.
That'd be a great burn.

So did Topher Grace look different due to his "Venom training"?

He actually looked like he was doing a BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN parody.

they had him in some pretty heavy clothing. so you couldn't really see if he's bulked up any. his neck / face still looked a little on the thin side though. so while he may have gotten into better shape, it doesn't look like he's put on very much muscle in the process so far.

It reminded me why I don't follow the show anymore.
I think it had some funny moments, but I really can't remember them.
Mila Kunis is hot. That was a plus.

Well, she is on Robot Chicken and Family Guy, but I suppose that's not what you're looking for.

It ended on sorta a whimper (like West Wing...one of many similarities between those shows), but it was a pleasant-enough finale. Could have been worse.

I really dug it.
It gave the show a real nice sense of closure, and SURE this season was filler, but it really the series nicely.
It was a GOOD Series finale, but a piss poor season finale to a piss poor season.
I think it's a show that would be GREAT for a reunion special in 5 years, in 1985, to catch up with the characters. As the characters were the show's attraction, all were very "real" and unique. The plots were kind of silly, but the characters were just so strong, the show worked.
