Attention Alex Toth fans

John Hitchcock, owner of Parts Unknown: The Comic Book Store, is releasing a book titled "Dear John: The Alex Toth Doodle Book." This 256-page book came about as a result of 25 years of correspondence between John and Mr. Toth, and is chock full of sketches, doodles and other never-before seen Toth artwork. It will also feature "Annotated Toth" pieces, where John has sent scanned pages from various Toth jobs to the artist, which he in turn commented on his thought processes, etc. The book, printed through Jeff Parker's Octopus Press, and edited by tvparty.com's Billy Ingram, will be solicited in the June 2006 Previews for an August release at a low price of $19.95! After printing costs are covered, any remaining profit will go directly to Toth himself.
