I laughed outloud at least a dozen times during this episode, somethign that hasn't happened while watching "Scrubs" in a long time.

I also really like that new surgeon girl. Not only is she hot, I like the character.

Me too. She's like the Jessica Jones of Scrubs. :)

I thought the Season Finale was pretty good. I felt the show had lost a little steam this past season, but this episode was pretty good. I'm not sure how I feel about the new development in Dr. Cox's and Jordan's lives yet, and I was hoping Elliot would go back to being single by now, but those are minor things.

That cliffhanger...man...

I'm pretty sure it's her ex-husband's.
Which puts JD in an interesting place.
Especially with Jordan/ Carla's pregnancies.

This season has been a bit of a letdown (still better than every other sitcom on TV), but these last two were great. The cliffhanger makes me think that Scrubs might be ending soon. I just don't see how the show could maintain the same level of insanity (or for that matter sexual tension) when everyone but Elliot is tied down with wives/girlfriends and babies. If you look at scrubs as a journal of JD's life and growth as a doctor, this would seem like the perfect way to end the show, by becoming doctor Cox.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. I'd imagine the next season will end with a wedding and/or a baby's birth, and JD's journey will be complete. It's been said/hinted a couple of times that Dr. Cox was a lot like JD when he was younger, and that JD wants to be like him, only "more succesful". I think you're right on the money.

I think Bill Lawrence & Co. probably know WHEN the show's gonna end, so they're probably going to work towards an ending.

Bill Lawrence has been quoted about planning for the show to end with the 7th season. So we have 44 more episodes left. Makes sense.

Two more years sounds good to me!

And I think the hilarity will just increase with Carla/Turk having a little baby. I see a nice godfather scene next year with JD.

I love Dr. Acula. I think it's the crew's way of ribbing on Zach Braff for all the success and attention he got for Garden State.

Highlights that made me laugh was when hottie Dr. Kim drawing the "average length of a penis" for the patient. And Turk was nodding in agreement. Then the patient was like, Yep that's right.

And the Dr. Acula scene with JD and Turk as the pimp... "I ain't lettin' you take no mo blood out my hoe-slappin' hand...I will pimp-slap you... this feels kinda racist, JD... why can't I be a vampire?" "Cause it's my movie, now, again from the top, and I'm not going to ask you again... be blacker.." Then he tackles him.

how are you so sure?

Because JD was the second first date the woman ever went on, although she could've had a one night stand. Still if her exhusband's the father, JD will have to admit that he's slept with his ex (Eliot) a few times.

My understanding of the 2 1/2 week absence was that she avoided JD because she found out she was pregnant, so he's not the father.

I expect her exhusband to appear in Season 6.

She's my fav. I fist noticed her in the hilarious "Hot Wet American Summer" before spotting her in the first Spidey flick. She also played the lead in a wonderful flick from last year called, "Heights," and had a lead role in that recent campy horror flick, "Sliver." She is a babe and an excellent actress.

Doing the channel-to-channel/side-by-side comparison last night during "Scrubs" and "Boston Legal," at this point, Elizabeth Banks is way hotter.

It's California.

They drove to SeaWorld in Season 3, and there's enough references to make it obvious that it's set in an analgous California city/town.

Agreed. I have never laughed at the floating head doctor bits. And Dr. Acula aside, this is a show that should limit running gags. The floating head thing is feeling VERY repetitive.
