Dan once confessed to me that he's a big video game fan, so I think it only makes sense to have a video game chat thread here. D, I'm really looking forward to seeing your set-up. Any chance you could share some pics of your game library with us?

Right now I've been jamming on some Katamari Damacy. Holy shit is that game addictive. I've gotta get the sequal.

Um... well, to bump this I'm currently playing Ultimate Spider-Man for the GBA. I'm curious to Dan's library myself.

I am, as always, playing Perfect Dark on the N64. Partly because I have an old PC and no other games machines, but mostly because the combat simulator never gets boring - right now I'm enjoying the insanity of eight-bot free-for-alls with timed mines the only available weapon and no shields, and after playing the game on and off for years, there's still all sorts of combinations of weapons and bot personalities I haven't tried yet.

(Remote mines are also an interesting option - the dumber bots never trigger their own mines, but they toss them everywhere, and as one exploding mine will touch off another one nearby, it's quite a challenge to blow someone up without causing a chain reaction that toasts half the arena, yourself included.)

Playing through Oblivion on the 360...(as well as about six other 360 games that I'm swapping out, but Oblivion is the main one.)

And trying to reach that elusive million points on Geometry Wars.

I didn't think it was possible to catch epilepsy, A.D.D., and go insane from playing a video game, but...yeah.

I picked up We Love Katamari last night and already went through the first ten or twelve stages. I chatted with the clerk at the store, and he told me they announced at E3 they're not gonna make any more Katamaris! WHAT!? Oh come on, this game rules so hard. I understand the whole "not wanting to wear out your welcome", but there was so much future potential.... :(
