Mine doesn't. I like to think I have a very expressive voice, but, when I hear my voice played back to me, it's really rather dull and boring.

Technicially it cannot. The bones in your skull transmit the vibration from your vocal cords, as well as your own ears hearing the sounds from your mouth. Since you are the only one in your head, you get a second source of sound which alters the way you hear yourself.

Does the sky look blue to anyone else?

Does anyone else look like they're breathing smoke when it's cold outside?

Who else needs to eat to stay alive?

Of course it doesn't. But my recorded voice doesn't sound wierd to me any longer, as I hear it all the time.

I don't think I sound too bad to myself. On tape I sound a complete dilweed.

In my head I have this really cool, deep voice that sounds even cooler over the phone. I mean, I'm talking cool like...well, I'm not entirely certain, but I *think* at least one person has masturbated to the sound of my voice over the phone.:D

In recordings and stuff I sound like the archetypal nerd.:-?
