I would honestly prefer covers by the incomparable MICHAEL LARK! I have nothing against the current cover artist, Tommy Lee Edwards, but I wants me some LARK on the cover!
I dont like the covers either.

We just got a new cover artist - I dont' know if I'm allowed to say who it is yet, but the stuff is amazing and we're all thrilled. You will be too. As soon as I can post a jpeg, I will.

Is it Finch? He's doing a couple of covers that are solicited and it would be awesome if he stayed on as cover artist. I'm a big fan of Finch.

I'm also a big fan of Lark too. I could definitely do some Lark DD covers. I just really like Finch's rendition of DD.

I was glad to see the change in the cover artist coming up. TLE has done some really fine work, like his cover on the last DD What if with the Asian theme, but I just couldn't get into this shiny, plastic-looking DD on the cover, nor the Murdock who looked more like Drew Carey in the prison cover last issue.
Finch would be fine, but I'd really like to see some more Lark covers.

I would like to see some James Jean DD covers -- that would be interesting. Or Dave Johnson or Bradstreet. Or Lark :)

Yeah, and I hear that Lark guy could use the money! :) But no, it's not me. Just trust me, you'll like them.

I've seen a cover by David Finch. I hope it's a sign of things to come, although, at first, it looked like Quesada.

So it is Lee Bermejo. What a fantastic addition to this already stellar book and creative team.

The cover to 88 looks very intriguing, both artwise and subjectwise.
Could I make a little comment here? I know I am not the average age comic reader, but the font style for the lettering in DD recently has gotten harder to read. I'm not sure if it's the thickness or the point size, but I have more trouble reading this title than I do some other comics right now. Give us presbyopic geeks a break, will ya? It's embarrassing to have to bring a magnifier to the comic shop. :D And, yes, I do wear glasses when I'm reading, as well as every other waking moment. I'm not complaining, as the lettering looks good; I personally am having a time reading it as well as I can some other titles currently published.
Anybody else notice this?

Yeah, it's Lee Bermeho. He's knocking the ball out of the park - you won't be disappointed. I'll post the cover in black and white as soon as I have the time to upload it to Photobucket.

Wow! That's great news. I loved Bermejo's Checkmate cover this week.

although i did like some of the TLE covers, lee bermeho would be a welcome replacement. i do not like the finch covers though. his style does not fit the tone of the book, imo.

The only thing I don't like about this book is I have to wait a month between issues. After #84, I'm DYING until the 24th.

FUCK. It's that long!?
... Oh god, I think I can actually hear time slowly passing by now. o_O
EDIT: I was actually JUST thinking today, "You know, it feels like FOREVER since I got a Daredevil issue in the mail."

I honestly think #84 has had the cliffhanger of the year so far. Total "Ohhhh DAMN!" moment.

I got several people to start reading this run with this issue alone.

It's so addicting, the federal government could legally classify it as a controlled substance.

I would honestly prefer covers by the incomparable MICHAEL LARK! I have nothing against the current cover artist, Tommy Lee Edwards, but I wants me some LARK on the cover!I loved Edwards' stuff on The Question, and was thrilled when I heard about the covers/mini-series... but, bleh.
He doesn't do a great Daredevil.
It sort of reminds me of Colon's DD in some way, which I'm not a fan of.
Bermejo should be exciting.
His Gotham Knights covers were out of this fucking world!

As cool as Lark covers would be, Bermejo is gonna kill. So very cool.

I was "suspended" for a "good reason," so I couldn't post this until now.
At the Newsarama Marvel August Solicitation previews (http://www.newsarama.com/marvelnew/Aug06/solicitations.html), I do believe I spyed Bermejo cover art line 3, position 2.
Not the most action packed of covers, but not a bad start!
Looking very forward to seeing more.

Lark covers would be nice, you know considering I'm too far behind and broke to start picking up Daredevil. Lark covers would tempt me a little more though.
