More Kieron Dwyer Thing art, but still nothing from Paul Smith. You're killin' me here, Dan!

I liked the reference to the Walt Simonson Fantastic Four issues that were drawn by Art Adams in the image below. As coincidence would have it, I was just looking at those about 3 hours ago. That's twilight zone stuff, there.

If only Marvel had solicited the issue with Spider-Man's new costume more apparent!!

Uh, do you really think that would have HELPED? (Call me a dinosaur, but I think the new costume is ugly and can't wait until Peter gets out of it!)

It's quite the change, but I am loving what I have seen so far!

I could make some joke about you wanting to get Peter out of his costume...but I'll behave myself. ;)
But yeah, I'm not sure the new costume would really make a difference here--it is the Spider-Man guest appearance which should draw attention, whether he is in the new costume, the classic costume, or a bridesmaid's dress.

yeah, it adds a collectability factor. I've seen people picking up all the issues with it in, and I myself have been tempted (not that I ever give in) :)
and whether you like it or not, Spidey getting a new costume is a big deal - Peter Parker hasn't worn a new one on a permanent or semi-permanent basis since the black one in 1989, and there hasn't been a different costume used with this level of regularity since the clone saga in 1996.
