I guess sarcasm doesn't translate on message boards.
:blah:
Spidey armor? Really?
This is why I only read New Avengers.

There's been a building of the relationship between Tony and Peter, with Tony as a bit of a father figure (and it makes sense, since Tony and Peter are both science nerds). When Peter 'died', Tony decided that he would build Peter armor to protect him. It also has a bit of a catch, as Tony's definitely using it to keep Peter in his corner for the upcoming Civil War conflict. Their relationship is interesting and has reinvigorated Amazing Spider-man, in my opinion.

Tony Stark made Peter some new Spider Armor. I like it.

That sounds interesting, maybe I'll give it a shot.

I'd highly recommend it. Spider-man: The Other, the story before it where he dies and is reborn isn't very good, but so far the story coming out of it has been really entertaining. I don't know the exact issue where it starts, but I believe it has a Road to Civil War banner on the top.

The Other wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. Once you get past Reggie Hudlin's awful writing, and Pat Lee's awful art, it is quite good. The JMS and PAD chapters are great.

When 4 out of the twelve chapters of a story are bad, the story just ain't gonna work for me. I did like elements of it, but Hudlin's work really ruined the story. I wonder what it would have been like if someone like Slott had been the third writer, instead of him.

I like it, I wouldn't call it "spider armor"
so far the only thing I don't like about it is the ability to "look like other things"

Still looks like it was designed by Rob Liefeld no matter who draws it. It's the black costume only uglier, with different colors and unnecessary accessories... "The Rob Liefeld Method"... :D
