You date someone long enough, you think you know them. But people change. And in the case of Colonel John Jameson, change can come with a fur coat, big fangs, and a very nasty appetite! Yeah, that's right, gamma-fans! Get ready for She-Hulk's biggest throw down yet as she goes toe-to-claw with THE MAN-WOLF!
Also a long absent cast member makes their stunning return! An important person from She-Hulk's past barges in! And one character leaves the book in a scene that you'll be talking about for months!

So I guess we know what is going on in issue 9 now (or we can make a very good guess). So, here's my question... why, oh, why, oh why are you doing this to me and Pug Dan?

Stupid Starfox and his stupid mis-used powers.

Oh sure, blame Starfox if it makes you feel better...but remember Jen was in love with John before Starfox showed up. :P

Besides, Starfox's pleasure powers only have a temporary effect--so his love zap will almost certainly have worn off by the time Jen and John tie the knot (unless Starfox is sticking around and rezapping her again and again).

Although I do feel badly for poor Pug, I think a Jen/John marriage has a lot of fun story potential--not the least of which is having J. Jonah Jameson react to having the She-Hulk for a daughter in law!
I hope we get to have a big Marvel wedding, with plenty of cameo appearances (I expect Invisible Woman, Wasp, Ms Marvel and Pulsar are the likely candidates to be Jen's bridesmaids)....and can you imagine what Shulkie's bachelorette party would be like?!? She tends to throw some wild parties, so I expect this one would be extreme!

How about I only stay angry at Starfox if the issues between Jen and John that he made her forget about get properly dealt with before the marriage.

There isn't much time now for a hen's night, is there? Issue 7 finishes off the Starfox court case, issue 8 will be the Civil War tie in, issue 9 the wedding. Not much of a chance for anything at all. But I have to admit it is a masterful marketing stroke by Dan to have such a landmark issue straight after the Civil War tie in to keep people around.
